We are currently in search of a skilled Renal Dietitian to enhance our clinical team. This position entails assessing patients' dietary needs and formulating customized nutrition strategies tailored to their unique health profiles. The role operates on a full-time basis, which includes 1-2 evening shifts each week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the patient's overall health and nutritional status to determine appropriate dietary interventions and provide informed recommendations.
  • Identify and prioritize the nutritional needs of each patient.
  • Create individualized meal plans, provide education on nutrition and dietary practices, address relevant medical conditions, and evaluate the patient's health status.
  • Offer essential guidance to promote the patient's health, advise on dietary modifications, and monitor food and fluid consumption, suggesting adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to refine nutrition plans as necessary.
  • Monitor patient progress over time to assess the effectiveness of nutritional interventions.
  • Encourage and support patients in adhering to their prescribed dietary plans.
  • Disseminate educational resources such as handouts and recipes to improve patient comprehension.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives.
