The Institute also emphasizes care for individuals dealing with diabetes, hypertension, and lipid abnormalities, while conducting significant research in these specialized fields.
We are currently in search of a skilled Renal Dietitian to enhance our clinical team. This position entails assessing patients' dietary needs and formulating customized nutrition strategies tailored to their unique health profiles. The role operates on a full-time basis, which includes 1-2 evening shifts each week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the patient's overall health and nutritional status to determine appropriate dietary interventions and provide informed recommendations.
- Identify and prioritize the nutritional needs of each patient.
- Create individualized meal plans, provide education on nutrition and dietary practices, address relevant medical conditions, and evaluate the patient's health status.
- Offer essential guidance to promote the patient's health, advise on dietary modifications, and monitor food and fluid consumption, suggesting adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to refine nutrition plans as necessary.
- Monitor patient progress over time to assess the effectiveness of nutritional interventions.
- Encourage and support patients in adhering to their prescribed dietary plans.
- Disseminate educational resources such as handouts and recipes to improve patient comprehension.
- Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives.
