A premier hotel with a stunning oceanfront location is seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and providing top-notch service in our upscale bar setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain current knowledge of popular cocktails and beverages, ensuring seamless service to our discerning guests.
  • Prepare all necessary mixers and garnishes prior to service, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Set up the bar service area with all necessary glassware and supplies, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Clean and restock glassware throughout the shift, maintaining a pristine environment for our guests.
  • Greet guests in a polite and professional manner, embodying the Loews Hotels standard of excellence.
  • Determine guests' needs and suggestively up-sell beverages to enhance their experience, showcasing your exceptional guest service skills.
  • Record all aspects of guest orders accurately and enter them into our computer system, ensuring seamless communication with our team.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to order, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Serve guests in a polite and professional manner, consistently exceeding their expectations.
  • Monitor guests to prevent over-indulgence and ensure their safety, demonstrating your commitment to responsible service.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the bar service area at all times, adhering to our strict health and safety protocols.
  • Prepare and present accurate records of guest charges, ensuring seamless financial transactions.
  • Collect monies due and apply charges to guest accounts using our POS terminal, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Complete end-of-shift revenue reports and cash deposits, providing valuable insights into our bar's performance.
  • Inventorize all beverages and operating supplies, ordering replacement items as needed to maintain our high standards of quality and service.
  • Perform all closing duties, securing all inventory and supplies, and ensuring a seamless transition to the next shift.
  • Other duties as assigned by management, demonstrating your flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in mathematics and communication.
  • At least one year of experience as a Bartender in a high-volume, upscale hotel or free-standing lounge environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Thorough knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, preparation methods, glassware, equipment, and service, with a passion for staying up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations.
  • Certification in Responsible Vendor requirements or ability to obtain same, demonstrating your commitment to responsible service and guest safety.
  • Exceptional guest service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Basic computer and cash handling skills, with the ability to accurately record and process transactions.
  • Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively during the entire shift, with a strong focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, with a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
