Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze medical claims for accuracy and completeness
  • Investigate and resolve claim denials and rejections through coding and documentation analysis
  • Work with providers and administrative staff to ensure accurate documentation and billing processes
  • Ensure all billing practices adhere to legal and regulatory requirements
  • Utilize various portals for claim information and assist with obtaining pre-authorizations as needed

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of medical billing experience
  • Out-of-network billing experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to various work environments
  • Must be computer proficient
