Join UW Medical Center - Montlake as a NICU Travel Nurse Specialist and be part of a team that provides high-quality, specialized nursing care in a 54-bed Level III NICU. This regional referral center for high-risk infants offers a unique chance to work with premature infants, primarily very low birth weight, requiring ventilatory support.

This position requires a minimum of 3 years of NICU experience in Level III facilities, preferably in a teaching hospital setting. You will also need to have EPIC charting experience and be willing to accommodate a variable weekend schedule based on patient needs.

In return for your expertise, you can expect an estimated annual salary of $127,712, taking into account the local cost of living and industry standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, specialized nursing care in a Level III NICU setting
  • Care for premature infants, primarily very low birth weight, requiring ventilatory support
  • Float between hospital units, specifically between NICU and Mother Baby units to care for infants only
  • Willingness to accommodate a variable weekend schedule based on patient needs
  • Collaborate effectively with health professionals to deliver comprehensive care
  • Maintain compliance with hospital and unit policies, including hygiene and safety protocols
