Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans to meet the unique needs of newborns and their families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and families on newborn care, breastfeeding, and other relevant topics.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure a positive and supportive care environment.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas or a compact state.
- One year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in an acute care setting.
- BSN preferred; Associate Degree or Diploma from a School of Nursing or University also accepted.
- Must have and maintain BLS certification.
- Must have and maintain current certifications, according to unit-specific needs.
