Licensed Vocational Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at Kaiser Permanente's West LA Medical Center. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our nephrology department.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and assisting with medical procedures.
- Assessment and Monitoring: Assess and monitor patients' conditions, identifying potential issues and notifying physicians or other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by physicians, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Documentation and Communication: Accurately document patient information, assessment, and nursing procedures, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and achieve departmental goals.
- Education: Current Vocational Nurse License (California) and Basic Life Support certification.
- Experience: Zero (0) to one (1) year LVN experience.
- Language: Bilingual (Spanish) Level II required.
- N/A
- Will be required to float.
- This is an on-call position, days and hours may vary.
- Must successfully pass or have passed the bilingual test (within the last 12 months) or be active in the QBS program.
