Position Overview

Salary: $20-21, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Bozeman Montessori is seeking a dedicated Lead Early Childhood Educator to join our vibrant team in the Primary classrooms. This role is crucial in supporting our Lead and Assistant Guides, ensuring a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. While prior Montessori experience is advantageous, we offer comprehensive on-the-job training to help you thrive in this position.

Requirements:

  • Submit a resume, three references, and educational credentials
  • Meet licensing prerequisites, including immunization documentation
  • Maintain current adult/child CPR-First Aid certification (or obtain within one month of hire)
  • Complete Montana-required health and safety training (within one month of hire)
  • Pass background checks as mandated by licensing
  • Demonstrate physical capability to lift up to 40 pounds and sit on the floor for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Enrollment in or completion of a relevant Bachelor's Degree program
  • Experience in early childhood education and care
  • Montessori certification is highly regarded but not mandatory
  • Willingness to pursue MACTE training within one year is desirable

Job Type: Full-time, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, 35-40 hours per week, year-round with scheduled breaks.
