About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Sodexo. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and follow recipes and product instructions to ensure accurate preparation of food
  • Estimate food requirements to minimize waste and optimize inventory
  • Operate a range of kitchen equipment to prepare, cook, and present food
  • Assist in the preparation of hot and cold foods, and properly store food to maintain quality and safety
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a commercial or institutional setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
