Job Summary

The Director of Marketing and Communications plays a critical role in developing and executing strategic marketing and communications initiatives to enhance BNI's brand awareness, reputation, and engagement with key stakeholders. This position oversees all aspects of marketing, including brand management, digital marketing, and communications, to drive cohesive messaging and alignment with key audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communications strategies aligned with BNI's goals and objectives.
  • Brand Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of BNI's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and communication channels.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of integrated marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, engagement, retention, and support revenue generation in alignment with company strategies.
  • Content Creation: Manage the creation of compelling content for various channels, including digital platforms, email marketing, and digital advertising.
  • Internal Communications: Develop and implement internal communication strategies to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with BNI's organizational values and objectives.
  • Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing efforts, including website management, SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and online advertising campaigns.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the marketing and communications team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage marketing and communications budgets, allocating resources effectively to achieve strategic objectives and maximize ROI.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze marketing and communication performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital marketing, media relations, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in marketing or a related field, with a proven track record in creating and executing communications strategies and marketing plans.
  • Skills: Strong leadership skills, ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams, experience with evaluating and upgrading communications platforms, websites, and mobile applications, and proficiency in data analytics, surveys, and market research.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience leading a geographically diverse team, including international team members.
    • Experience with developing and marketing an executive-level, luxury brand.
    • Video, online broadcast, and graphic design experience strongly preferred.
    • Proficiency in web design and development.
    • Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
    • Experience within the franchising industry is a plus.

    Working Conditions

    This is a full-time, exempt paid position. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
