Position: Survey CAD Engineer

Location: Primarily based in Irvine, CA, with regular travel to various project locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • CAD Design and Drafting:
  • Create precise and comprehensive drawings utilizing CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers and project managers to convert designs into actionable models.
  • Technical Analysis and Problem-Solving:
  • Assess design options and enhance construction plans through analytical evaluation.
  • Detect and address design discrepancies in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Generate thorough documentation to facilitate construction activities.
  • Support cost estimation and project proposal development.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Engage effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Offer technical insights during project discussions and site assessments.
  • Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:
  • Establish quality assurance protocols for CAD outputs.
  • Remain informed about industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Spot opportunities for process enhancements.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in CAD Engineering.
  • Expertise in CAD software, 3D Modeling, AutoCAD (MicroStation, Civil packages), and Bluebeam.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze Civil Engineering Plans.
  • Fundamental understanding of Civil Engineering Principles.
  • Drone certification as a remote pilot is preferred.
