POSITION SUMMARY:
This role involves engaging in the implementation of Oracle Cloud EPM solutions through a comprehensive cycle that includes requirements gathering, design, development, testing, training, deployment, and ongoing support.
The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting business rules, generating application reports, creating interfaces, and customizing solutions to deliver a cohesive global application for clients. They will collaborate with an integrated team alongside business stakeholders to ensure effective application deployment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contribute to the rollout of Oracle EPM solutions throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Possess technical expertise in scripting for developing business rules, Data Management, and EPM Automation.
- Experience in constructing metadata, designing web forms, performing data reconciliation, and developing dashboards.
- Assist in formulating capacity plans and support load testing activities.
- Create and uphold comprehensive system documentation, encompassing both functional and technical aspects.
- Conduct regression testing for Oracle software updates and patches.
- Oversee the maintenance of master data management for Oracle EPM.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of agile methodologies.
- Expertly gather business and functional requirements to guide solution delivery aligned with organizational objectives.
Facilitate the establishment of critical paths, milestones, delivery timelines, and review client deliverables to ensure they meet acceptance criteria.
Document technical proposals and designs for peer evaluation; maintain technical documentation for both legacy and future solutions.
Collaborate with IT Security, Enterprise Architecture, and Infrastructure teams to ensure that technical solutions comply with security and architectural standards.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Management Information Systems.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in implementing and optimizing EPBCS / PBCS applications.
- Project experience with EPM Suite of Products 11.x.
- Familiarity with cloud-based SaaS market offerings.
- Understanding of FP&A processes, including bottom-up planning, scenario modeling, allocations, account reconciliations, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, and top-side adjustments.
- Prior experience in interpreting business requirements and translating them into effective solutions.
- Experience with data integration across various systems/sources (On-premise FDMEE and cloud Data Exchange).
- Proficient in creating EPM automate and REST API scripts.
- Experience in developing and maintaining business rules and Groovy scripts.
- Familiarity with MR and Narrative reporting.
- Knowledge of HFM and FCCS is advantageous.
