AP/AR Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented AP/AR Specialist to join our team at Shoup Legal. A Professional Law Co. As an AP/AR Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, billing, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable: Process payments in accordance with our firm's policies and procedures, ensuring timely and accurate payment to vendors.
• Accounts Receivable: Manage the law firm trust accounts and client billing list, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing and collection of payments.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, including weekly and monthly reports for the Managing Attorney.
• Vendor Management: Setup and maintain all vendor accounts, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
• Dispute Resolution: Work with clients to address questions and concerns related to billing and payment, providing excellent customer service to resolve issues.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience with QuickBooks and accounting software.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional office experience, preferably in a law firm.
