Key Responsibilities:

This role will support the Chief Architect and the Advanced Concepts Evaluation Team, focusing on advanced sensor and weapon concept design and performance evaluation. We seek individuals with expertise in space system modeling and simulation, a thorough understanding of threat systems, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to senior leadership.

Primary Duties Include:

  • Assessing missile defense capabilities against projected threats.
  • Recommending innovative methods for missile defense and defeat.
  • Documenting findings in analytical reports and presentations.
  • Developing new missile defense concepts and evaluating their feasibility.
  • Conducting mission and component analysis to establish performance baselines.
  • Validating solutions and mission requirements throughout the development process.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a STEM field.
  • A minimum of 12 years of professional experience in a technical field related to missile defense or complex DoD weapon systems.
  • Possession of a TOP SECRET clearance; recent SAP experience is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work on-site as required.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in orbital mechanics modeling.
  • Expertise in laser systems performance analysis.
  • Modeling acquisition and track sensors for performance evaluation.
  • Experience in conducting analytical studies and developing analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with MDA Systems Engineering processes.
