**Key Responsibilities:**

**Key Qualifications:**

  • 2-3+ years of experience in public accounting, with a specific focus on working with municipalities and government entities.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, GASB standards, and government-specific regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and auditing procedures related to public sector accounting.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing and reviewing comprehensive annual financial reports (CAFRs).
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with both internal teams and external government stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.

**Work Schedule:**

This position is fully on-site, with a Monday-Friday schedule. General flexibility is provided, but applicants must be available to work full days during office hours to meet client and project deadlines. Some overtime may be required during busy seasons.
