Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Baldwyn, Mississippi.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in our respiratory department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ventilatory management, airway management, and diagnostic procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and perform acid base, ventilation, oxygenation, quality control, and diagnostic procedures.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient-focused therapy plans.
  • Administer therapeutic regimes and recommend ventilatory management strategies.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and provide complete clinical information.
  • Select, assemble, and ensure proper function of respiratory equipment while maintaining infection control.
  • Provide education and training to students and individuals upon request.
Requirements:
  • Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist with a valid and current Respiratory Care Practitioner License in the state of Mississippi.
  • Must have knowledge and skill to care for a wide range of patients, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
  • Primarily caring for adults.
  • New incumbents must complete hospital orientation and Respiratory Care Department specific orientation.
