About the Job

The Inventory Operations Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of Danone's inventory management processes. This position will be responsible for performing complex analysis using SAP and other systems to monitor inventory levels, identify inefficiencies, and recommend corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor SAP to ensure accurate and timely posting of production receipts, resupply receipts, and outbound shipments.
  • Complete monthly inventory reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Research and document instances where a credit or financial reimbursement is due to Danone.
  • Work with co-manufacturers to mitigate loss and provide disposition.
  • Utilize emerging technologies to provide real-time data on inventory levels, improving accuracy and reducing the risk of stockouts or overstocking.
  • Complete attainment analysis to track Purchase Order requests versus actual production.
  • Perform raw material obsolescence and expiration risk analysis.
  • Liaise between Danone's Internal Control and co-manufacturers during annual audits, ensuring compliance with requirements.
Process Improvement
  • Implement the latest automation processes to improve efficiency.
  • Develop and implement metrics, methods, and reports to track co-manufacturer performance.
  • Proactively identify Continuous Improvement opportunities and recommend action items.
  • Develop training materials and SOPs for Process Improvement that exemplify Best Practices.
Communication
  • Provide best-in-class communication internally and externally, anticipating inquiries and establishing follow-up activities.
  • Interact with plant management and personnel to ensure absolute accuracy of inventory.
  • Proactively identify material supply issues and communicate them to the appropriate party.
  • Develop cross-functional educational materials to ensure understanding of key activities, interactions, and processes.
  • Maintain open dialogue with cross-functional peers to coordinate activities and improve performance and productivity.
