Responsibilities

As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will be responsible for implementing Oncology Phase 1 clinical trials at the Clinical Research Center and ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and standard operating procedures. Your duties will include:

  • Assisting investigators in preparing and implementing new clinical trials
  • Screening and enrolling study participants and providing protocol-related clinical management
  • Ensuring successful, patient-oriented, safe, and effective conduct of clinical trials
  • Serving as a resource to other staff members on available protocols and general research topics
  • Collaborating with the clinical research team to ensure timely prescreening of potential subjects and active cancer patients for all available clinical trials
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a license to practice in the State of New Jersey
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
  • Two or more years of nursing experience working in a hospital setting
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an Oncology specialty area in a hospital or clinic setting
  • Minimum of 6 months of clinical research nursing experience
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include standing, sitting, walking, talking, and hearing. No special vision requirements. Lifting up to 25lbs.

Vitalief partners with clients that require all on-site resources to provide proof of full vaccination for Covid-19, annual influenza inoculation, and successful completion of a Mantoux Tuberculin Skin Test (TST) for Mycobacterium Tuberculosis.
