About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Assembly Laborer to join our team at Lippert Components. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for assembling components according to product specifications, ensuring high-quality products that meet our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare workstations by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering necessary tools and materials.
  • Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements, ensuring accurate fit and assembly.
  • Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies, and resolving any assembly issues that may arise.
  • Maintain equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Manage supplies inventory by checking stock levels, anticipating needed supplies, and placing orders as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding potential issues, ensuring seamless workflow and collaboration.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations, and ensuring safety measures are followed to protect personnel and company property.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Up to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on assembly and production.
  • Ability to identify products that meet quality and productivity standards.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and ability to focus on details to guarantee production of high-quality products.
  • Ability to read and follow documented procedures and standards, and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to ensure delivery requirements.
  • Willingness to work overtime to meet goals and deadlines.
  • Clear communication (oral and written) skills, with the ability to work well with others while pursuing common goals.
