About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate Contracts: Negotiate all trade and vendor pricing per project to reach profitable agreements.
  • Resource Planning: Determine needed site resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to the project budget.
  • Construction Operations: Plan all construction operations and schedule all work on-site to ensure deadlines will be met.
  • Material Management: Assist in ordering materials and supplies, and schedule deliveries on-site.
  • Client Communication: Provide a daily client update including project progress reports and photographs, and keep a daily log of what took place on-site for each project.
  • Trade Contracting: Award all trade contracts and allocate their responsibilities.
  • Quality Control: Communicate quality and performance standards to all trade contractors and vendors.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a general contractor or developer.
  • Project Type: Experience with light industrial construction projects required.
  • Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments simultaneously, strong time management, oral and written communication skills, and OSHA 30 certification.

  • Competitive Salary: Base salary of $100,000-$125,000, depending on level of experience.
