Housekeeping Supervisor


plays a vital role in enhancing the experience of families by ensuring operational excellence within the Housekeeping division.

This pivotal position involves inspecting facilities, recommending enhancements when necessary, and establishing efficient workflows, standardized procedures, and quality assurance plans. The Supervisor oversees all housekeeping activities and team members to guarantee a seamless experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities
Guides and mentors housekeeping personnel daily to ensure cleanliness standards and operational efficiencies are met or surpassed.
Implements and oversees inventory management processes with the assistance of Housekeeping Supervisors.
Drives, reviews, and ensures proper execution of the work order process.
Assists the Director in analyzing and planning actions related to guest feedback and NPS Scores, including follow-up and resolution.
Implements the Director's financial strategy to manage budget and labor, along with operating expense forecasts.
Leads and mentors direct reports and Housekeeping staff, including:
Housekeeping Supervisors and all team members to ensure appropriate staffing and budgeting levels are maintained.
Trains new team members and ensures ongoing training and development for current staff.
Manages and drives training and development for supervisors.
Communicates regularly with Housekeeping staff, setting expectations and aligning with Great Wolf values, providing consistent feedback through inspections and daily meetings.
Ensures compliance and timely completion of performance evaluations; identifies key talent and plans for development.
Models and upholds the Great Wolf guest service standards of excellence.
Ensures guest requests for the Housekeeping department are addressed professionally and promptly.
Continuously elevates the standard for Housekeeping guest service focus.
Actively participates in the Manager On Duty Program.
Addresses and resolves any guest concerns as necessary to ensure satisfaction.
Ensures adherence to daily, weekly, monthly, and annual safety and compliance standards.
Communicates with the Director of Engineering to ensure housekeeping areas meet safety standards.
Conducts and monitors Hazard Communications Programs biannually.
Investigates, reports, and documents inappropriate behavior by staff, guests, or suspicious individuals.

Required Qualifications & Skills
High School diploma or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 years in the Hospitality industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Proven knowledge and experience in labor management scheduling.
Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams.
Strong analytical, planning, and change management skills.
Proven management skills including conflict resolution, coaching, development, and team building.
Ability to effectively resolve conflicts.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 30 lbs.
Ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
