Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager Assistant to join our team at Custom Computer Specialists, Inc.

About the Role:

  • This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and analytical individual to work on large-scale technology refresh programs.
  • The successful candidate will provide program support and coordination in various areas of PMO, working closely with the Project Management team to implement processes and procedures based on PMI standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and schedule project tasks with internal teams and vendors.
  • Issue work orders to Program vendors.
  • Track project tasks and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform data entry as needed and generate various program documentation.
  • Evaluate status updates from vendors to determine project status.
  • Assist the Program team with reporting and program administration, including program status reporting, vendor status reports, resource utilization reporting, and program expense management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years' experience working as a project coordinator or on a large-scale project.
  • Demonstrated capability to work in Microsoft Excel and other productivity tools.
  • Strong verbal communication, customer service, organizational skills, and professional manner required.
  • Candidates must be customer-oriented, self-motivated, ambitious, and dedicated team players.
  • Ability to take ownership of all tasks assigned, with strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in English and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • PMI certification such as CAPM a plus.
  • Degree or some college a plus.

Salary Range:

$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Work Location:

Hauppauge, Long Island, NY. May require low to moderate travel into the five boroughs of New York City.
