POSITION SUMMARYThe Marketing Intern plays a crucial role in enhancing the visibility and understanding of the organization's mission and values. This position primarily focuses on leveraging social media platforms to promote program activities and membership opportunities. The intern will work on strengthening the relationship with our audience by customizing social media content and advertisements to engage targeted demographics. They will contribute to crafting our messaging across various social media channels to retain current members and attract new ones.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Create engaging social media materials, graphics, and messaging that highlight the value of the organization's leadership experience, benefits for members, and the importance of volunteer involvement.
- Organize and facilitate special online events, such as live sessions on social media platforms.
- Produce and edit videos for social media use, focusing on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Manage and respond to incoming messages and comments on social media.
