Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

BryceTech is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex IT systems for our clients.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, information technology, and software development. You will work closely with our clients to capture and negotiate requirements, user stories, and operations concepts, and drive those change requests through the systems engineering lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work effectively with clients to capture and negotiate requirements, user stories, and operations concepts
  • Develop and maintain schedules for work components
  • Create and/or update all documentation for design and change instruments
  • Perform high-level requirement assessments and facilitate detailed assessments performed by technical organizations
  • Provide systems engineering support to implementation organizations
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a BS or 10 years of experience closely related to systems engineering, information technology, and software development. Strong skills in systems engineering, information technology, and software development are required.

Additional requirements include:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Highly motivated individual willing to learn and apply new concepts, tools, and software
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong personal initiative
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting
Desired Skills

Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITIL workflow toolset, experience across various areas of the systems engineering lifecycle, experience with agile development practices, and experience with SANs, Kubernetes containers, VPNs, and distributed systems are desired.
