About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Michael Page. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with clients, business partners, and colleagues to gather necessary information and ensure accurate project scope.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to develop a clear understanding of project requirements.
  • Prepare comprehensive cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
  • Solicit subcontractor and vendor pricing and ensure proper scope inclusion.
  • Complete detailed labor and material takeoffs.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in HVAC/Plumbing estimating or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
