Overview

As an HVAC/R Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate operation of our customers' equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Repair and overhaul of equipment, including refrigeration, heating, and ventilation systems
  • Provide preventative maintenance activities to diagnose equipment malfunctions and ensure quality work performance
  • Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and mechanical skills
  • Maintain accurate records of work history and process job tickets and work orders
  • Perform minor construction and remodeling projects, including startups of new installations
  • Drive company vehicle safely and perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • EPA certification
  • Minimum 3+ years of commercial refrigeration experience
  • Experience working on refrigeration equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with single systems and rack systems, as well as previous work on display cases and walk-in boxes is very helpful
  • Good driving record and ability to work independently
  • Emergency on-call availability is a basic requirement
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. with no assistance and sit or stand for several hours at a time
