Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Estimator to play a vital role in our organization. In this position, you will be responsible for generating precise and competitive cost estimates for a variety of construction projects. Your work will be crucial to our operations, influencing client decisions and project success. Key Responsibilities:

As an Estimator, your main duties will include:

1. Thoroughly analyzing project documents to understand requirements and specifications.
2. Preparing comprehensive cost estimates that encompass materials, labor, equipment, and timelines.
3. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to discuss estimates and resolve discrepancies.
4. Updating estimates as project specifications evolve or new information arises.
5. Conducting risk assessments to identify potential cost overruns and developing contingency strategies.
6. Staying informed about industry trends, market conditions, and pricing for construction materials.
7. Presenting cost estimates to clients and stakeholders clearly and concisely.

Qualifications:

To qualify for the Estimator position, candidates should possess:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. At least 3 years of experience in project estimation and construction cost analysis.
3. Proficiency in construction estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
4. Strong mathematical and analytical capabilities for accurate cost data analysis.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying complex information effectively.
6. A solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and project management principles.
7. The ability to thrive under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
8. A keen eye for detail to identify discrepancies in project documents.
