About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Therapist to join our team at the Barber National Institute. As a key member of our behavioral health team, you will provide high-quality treatment to adults involved with the criminal justice system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Evidence-Based Therapy: Provide individual and group therapy sessions to adults, utilizing evidence-based clinical models.
  • Design and Implement Treatment Plans: Collaborate with treatment teams to design and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address the unique needs of each individual.
  • Collaborate with Treatment Teams: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Attend Supervision Meetings and Consultations: Participate in regular supervision meetings and consultations to ensure adherence to best practices and to receive feedback on your work.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Psychology or Related Field: Possess a master's degree in psychology or a related field, such as counseling or social work.
  • Licensed Professional Counselor or Equivalent: Hold a valid license as a professional counselor or equivalent, such as a licensed therapist or psychologist.
  • Experience with Clinical Therapy Models: Have experience working with evidence-based clinical therapy models, such as CBT or DBT.
  • Clearance for Criminal Record and Child Abuse History: Possess clearance for a criminal record and child abuse history, as required by law.
