We are seeking a skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team at the Barber National Institute. As a comprehensive diagnostic specialist, you will conduct thorough assessments and diagnostic testing to children and adolescents to determine a diagnosis of Autism.

Key Responsibilities:


Conduct Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) testing to assess communication skills, social interactions, and imaginative use of materials.

Conduct a comprehensive clinical mental health intake utilizing a variety of diagnostic tools and surveys, including the PHQ-9, C-SSRS, and a Biopsychosocial assessment.

Conduct structured interviews with clients and their parent/caregiver to assess deficits in social communication/interaction, nonverbal communication, and/or the ability to maintain relationships.

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Psychology, counseling or related field

Licensure in Social work or LPC

Knowledge related to the administration and scoring of psychological tests/assessments including interpreting and analyzing the statistical results of said assessments.

Experience in the design and implementation of clinical treatment plans.

Knowledge of evidenced based clinical therapy models in the treatment of mental illness.

Eligibility for State Police Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse History Clearance

FBI clearance required for individuals who do not meet PA residency requirements.
