Appliance Repair Technician Job Description

As an Appliance Repair Technician with UASA, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of appliances and equipment in customers' homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install home appliances and equipment accurately and efficiently
  • Diagnose and repair appliances and equipment in customers' homes
  • Collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed
  • Ensure the efficient use of materials and keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced
  • Perform other duties as needed, including cross-training in related positions
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean record
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Proficiency in navigating tablet-based technology
  • The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance
Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

We are actively interviewing for this position. Compensation: $30.00 per hour. As an appliance repair technician, you'll work with a variety of appliances, including dishwashers, microwaves, and dryers. You'll need to be knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, and electrical work. In addition to technical skills, you'll also need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
