Job Title: Appliance Repair Technician

As an Appliance Repair Technician for UASA, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of appliances and equipment. You will work with a variety of appliances, including dishwashers, microwaves, and dryers, and will need to have a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and repair home appliances and equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with appliances and equipment
  • Collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed
  • Ensure the efficient use of materials and keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced
  • Perform other duties as needed, including cross-training in related positions
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean record
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Proficiency in navigating tablet-based technology
  • The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance
Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Compensation:

$30.00 per hour

As an Appliance Repair Technician, you will work with a variety of appliances and equipment, and will need to have a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical work. You will also need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
