Key Responsibilities:
- Execute repairs and maintenance as specified in the repair order efficiently and in line with dealership standards.
- Conduct test drives and utilize diagnostic tools to assess vehicle performance.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair various automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services required.
- Provide accurate estimates for the time needed for additional repairs.
- Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Technician preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification is required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills and basic computer proficiency.
- A positive and friendly demeanor, with a willingness to learn and grow.
- A collaborative team player who can work effectively with others.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
