About the JobThe Managed Services Account Executive will focus on acquiring new clients by identifying prospects, understanding their IT challenges, and demonstrating how our managed services can elevate their business. This role requires strong communication and relationship-building skills, as well as the ability to understand and explain technical solutions in plain language. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within IT services, MSPs, or technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Acquisition: Identify, target, and secure new managed services clients through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and working warm leads provided by the marketing team.
  • Consultative Selling: Understand client needs and position our managed services as the ultimate solution to their IT challenges.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline in our CRM system, ensuring accurate forecasting and activity tracking.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Industry Networking & Presence in the Local Business Community: Represent Portland Internetworks at industry events, trade shows, and local business gatherings to build relationships and generate leads.
  • Collaboration: Partner with our technical and onboarding teams to ensure a seamless transition for new clients.
  • Sales Metrics: Consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for new MRR.
