About the Role

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a skilled Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of newborns and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct newborn hearing screens in a hospital setting, providing accurate and timely results to parents and healthcare providers.
  • Enter patient data and validate hearing screen results, ensuring compliance with hospital and company protocols.
  • Assist with confirming or rescheduling outpatient appointments, as needed.
  • Help maintain equipment and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care for patients.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One to three months of related experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to perform accurate data entry.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and national holidays.
