We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Director of Support Services at Turning Point, Inc. As a key member of our leadership team, the Director of Support Services will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality support services to our residents, ensuring their health, well-being, and independence are met.

About the Role:

The Director of Support Services will lead a team of residential support staff, developing and implementing effective strategies to enhance resident outcomes and quality of life. This role requires strong leadership and collaboration skills, as well as a deep understanding of the needs and preferences of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of residential support staff, providing coaching, training, and guidance as needed
  • Develop and implement effective household routines and procedures to promote resident independence and quality of life
  • Collaborate with residents, families, and external stakeholders to develop and implement personalized service plans
  • Monitor and report on resident outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices, applying new knowledge and approaches to improve resident outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of organizational policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in residential care or a related field, with experience in leadership or management
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with experience building and managing high-performing teams
  • Knowledge of Department of Developmental Services' (DDS) and/or Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (MRC) regulations and the ISP process
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including those with complex needs and behaviors
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other software applications
  • Ability to lift, bend, and move as needed to assist residents with mobility or transfer

Salary: $62,000 - $70,000 annually, dependent on experience
