Career Development: Abbott values high-performing interns and considers them for the Financial Professional Development Program (FPDP) upon graduation. This program is a two-year rotational leadership development initiative featuring four distinct work assignments across various settings, including corporate and division headquarters, affiliate locations, and manufacturing plants.
Basic Qualifications:
- Completion of at least one year of college education prior to the internship
- Enrollment in an academic program for the semester following the internship
- Pursuing a BS/BA degree
- Completion of a minimum of four accounting courses, including one in cost accounting, before graduation
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS/BA students focusing on Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Leadership roles on campus
- Membership in finance or accounting organizations
- Prior experience in finance or accounting-related roles
Compensation: The base pay for this position ranges from $15.85 to $31.65 per hour, with variations based on specific locations.
