Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified part-time mathematics instructor to teach courses in Summer 2024 and Fall 2024 at Alamance Community College.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lecturing in person or remotely
  • Holding office hours
  • Preparing syllabi and lessons
  • Creating and grading assignments and tests
Requirements

A Master's degree in Mathematics or a Master's degree plus 18 graduate hours in Mathematics from a regionally-accredited institution is required. Preference will be given to applicants with community college or university teaching experience in mathematics.

Preference will also be given to applicants who have experience with online teaching, learning management systems, and homework management systems.
