Job Title: Director, Security Threat and Risk Analysis

Johns Hopkins University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Director, Security Threat and Risk Analysis. This position will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and faculty across the university's campuses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive risk analysis program to identify and mitigate potential threats to the university.
  • Conduct thorough threat assessments and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance security and risk management.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on security and risk management best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and trends in security and risk management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as cybersecurity, criminal justice, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in risk analysis, intelligence, cybersecurity, or investigative work in a government, military, intelligence, or law enforcement organization.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing risk management programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience working in a public safety environment.
  • Knowledge of open-source investigation techniques and familiarity with internet research tools.
