Job Summary
The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting Rutter's by synthesizing complex financial information and creating meaningful reporting and interpretation. This position is a vital link in the information chain as accuracy and application of analytical principles will impact strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed financial analysis to identify areas for improvement across Rutter's companies.
- Monitor business trends and provide ongoing support to all organizational levels and segments.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and/or monthly financial reports to inform business decisions.
- Assist in the development of monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range growth plans.
- Perform special project work and ad-hoc financial reporting as required.
- Provide management reports based on functional areas of responsibility.
- Identify expense areas and make recommendations for cost reductions.
- Develop and implement solutions for capturing and reporting financial information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Systems, or Business Administration.
- 2-4 years of experience in Financial Analysis is preferred.
- Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server is a plus.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel modeling is preferred.
