Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Clinical Pharmacist to deliver exceptional pharmaceutical care within a healthcare environment.
Availability Requirements
The ideal candidate should be flexible and able to commit to more than the minimum required shifts, including both weekdays and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to designated patients under the guidance of a senior clinical pharmacist or manager.
- Assess and interpret physician orders, ensuring the accurate dispensing of medications and pharmaceutical supplies in compliance with established operational protocols, professional standards, and applicable laws.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Doctoral degree (PharmD) or an equivalent pharmacy degree from an accredited institution is mandatory.
Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of direct patient care experience in a hospital setting is essential; completion of a PGY-1 residency is preferred.
Licenses and Certifications: Must possess a Registered Pharmacist (RPH) license in the relevant jurisdiction; board certification upon hire is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Problem Solving: The role necessitates a high level of analytical thinking to address complex human, technical, clinical, or administrative challenges.
Internal Collaboration: Effective internal communication is crucial for advising, consulting, and gaining cooperation from colleagues.
