About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our team at Hermès Americas. As a trusted partner to our business areas, you will provide technical leadership and expertise to drive comprehensive technology delivery, innovation, and support across our systems landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and expertise to drive comprehensive technology delivery, innovation, and support across our systems landscape.
  • Collaborate with our Enterprise Services group to develop and implement best solutions for our business needs.
  • Partner with our Business Services team to ensure alignment with business goals and requirements.
  • Develop solutions for process improvements identified by our Business Services team.
  • Represent our IT department in obtaining approval of proposed solutions and architecture from our global Architecture team.
  • Maintain an updated documentation of our enterprise architecture landscape.
  • Provide input from the Americas region to our Global Architecture team and participate in standards definitions as required.
  • Research and understand new technologies and solutions, documenting and sharing best practice knowledge.
  • Closely partner with our Infrastructure Team to build scalable foundations for key technology projects.
  • Perform design, debug, and performance analysis on solutions, regularly assessing existing solutions for opportunities of improvement and optimization.

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of hands-on experience in software development or a related IT discipline.
  • A Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, or equivalent.
  • Certificate in solutions architecture-related fields is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the tools and technologies involved in designing solutions.
  • Requires both technical and interpersonal skills to design, ability to describe and manage solutions in business terms.
  • Outstanding team leadership, communication, and basic project management skills.
  • Background in retail business operations, processes, and technologies (Retail ERP, Warehouse Management System, Financials).
  • Comfortable interacting with business stakeholders, IT, executive leadership, and external vendors.
  • A problem solver excited by challenging initiatives.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Understands data and integration concepts, basic cloud computing, and infrastructure technology.
  • Experience in JIRA, MS Office, Service Now, PPM tools, PowerBI, PowerApps is a plus.
