Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in food preparation, including peeling potatoes, cutting and washing vegetables and fruits, assembling sandwiches, and measuring ingredients.
  • Stock food service carts with utensils, plates, bowls, food, and beverages for family-style dining.
  • Wrap, arrange, and package items for serving to children and youth.
  • Transport food from the kitchen to classrooms or activity areas.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, including pots, pans, dishes, and utensils.
  • Perform heavy-duty cleaning tasks, such as cleaning ceilings, exhaust hoods, and floors.
  • Store food and supplies in designated areas, following sanitation and health standards.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of food handling techniques, personal hygiene standards, and safe work procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
