Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems for consumer products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and develop new products
  • Lead electronics hardware and software peer design reviews
  • Support fielded products and perform analysis of field-reported issues

Requirements:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum of 5+ years' of relevant experience in a technical leadership role
  • Experience in analog and digital embedded design, power electronics, and firmware development
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Desired Technical Competencies:

  • Power electronics, AC and DC power management, switching, EMI
  • Driving and controlling thermal heating elements, AC and DC motors up to 2hp, PD, PID controllers
  • Understanding of sensors and sensing techniques, NTC, PTC, Accelerometers
  • Understanding of power switching with relay and mechanical contacts as well as solid state
  • Embedded controllers like STM32 and busses I2C, SMB, SPI
