Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team at Republic National Distributing Company - West Columbia. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of our products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver products by bottle, case, or pallet from the delivery truck to the customer's account by hand truck.
  • Conduct pre and post trip inspections, notating any vehicle defects and adhering to DOT hours of service rules and regulations.
  • Safely operate commercial vehicles and conduct pre and post trip inspections.
  • Make an average of 20 timely deliveries a day, with the potential to deliver more accounts during high volume seasons.
  • Verify receipt of correct orders with customers, obtain signatures and payment if necessary, and ensure physical security of the truck at all times.
  • Provide regular feedback to management regarding route changes, concerns, and areas of opportunity.
  • Abide by DOT hours of service rules and regulations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, with two years of delivery experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current Class B CDL driver's license (Class A CDL license also allowed and may be required for positions based on location).
  • Ability to meet company vehicle insurance requirements.
  • Valid DOT medical certification card and ability to file appropriately with state Motor Vehicle Department.
  • Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License, as required by the state.
