We are seeking a Product Security Expert and Senior Manager to join our team at HP Development Company, L.P. - Oversees the organization of ongoing security testing and code review to improve software security, updating security testing plans to prevent known vulnerabilities from resurfacing.
- Designs and implements comprehensive security strategies, guidelines, and practices to ensure the security of software products.
- Collaborates with development teams to implement security measures, conduct assessments, and design safeguards that protect applications from potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Develops and enforces security requirements and guidelines throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure security is integral from the beginning.
- Liaises with internal stakeholders to adopt industry-standard Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) methodologies, including source code analysis, threat modeling, risk analysis, and writing product security requirements.
- Serves as an expert-level resource on secure coding practices, advising teams on best practices to inform and drive secure coding practices across the organization.
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and typically 10+ years of work experience in software security and automation, or a related field. Prior experience in managing large, cross-divisional functional teams or projects, leading high-profile initiatives, and driving innovative solutions to complex problems within established policy.
