Podiatric Medical Support Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Podiatric Medical Support Specialist to join our team at Greenfield Foot and Ankle Associates. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide procedural and administrative support to our physicians.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for bringing patients back to the exam room and preparing them for examination.
- Properly setting up an exam room for each visit is also a crucial part of your role.
- Verifying patient information by interviewing the patient, recording medical history, and confirming the purpose of the visit is essential.
- You will assist physicians with procedures as needed.
- You will secure patient information and maintain patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records according to HIPAA Privacy Laws.
- Maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following safety standards and procedures set forth by OSHA is vital.
- You will keep exam rooms stocked and cleaned throughout the day.
Qualifications
- A graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or two years of similar experience is preferred.
- You must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are necessary.
- General computer experience with data entry is required.
- The ability to multitask effectively is crucial.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
- Attention to detail is essential.
What We Offer
- An estimated salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year based on experience.
