Job Summary:

The Licensed Mental Health Professional will provide treatment within the Youth Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program to children/youth with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) and their families/caregivers. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of trauma-informed care and a commitment to providing culturally competent services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of service and clinical needs.
• Develop treatment plans collaboratively with children, families, and care teams.
• Communicate progress with schools and community providers.
• Provide crisis intervention as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely case records and documentation.
• Participate in team meetings, consultations, and supervision sessions.

Requirements:

• Licensure by the New York State Education Department as Licensed Clinical/Master Social Worker (LCSW/LMSW).
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Reliability, independence, and confidentiality awareness.
• Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
• Must maintain New York State Defensive Driving certification within 30 days of hire.
• Must maintain pre-employment clearances by applicable regulatory clearances as required.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States.

Special Considerations:

This position requires flexibility with working hours and may involve 24-hour crisis intervention rotation.

• Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000, based on departmental budget, qualifications, experience, education, and licenses.

• Paid Time Off: 25 days of PTO, 12 sick days, and 11 company-paid holidays per year (prorated for part-time staff).
