Job Summary

This role focuses on utilizing advanced imaging techniques and practices to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing cardiac ultrasound procedures on assigned patients, adhering to radiological standards and protocols. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cardiac ultrasound procedures on patients as assigned, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Verify patient and procedure information to ensure accuracy and safety.
  • Provide clear and concise instructions to patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the procedure.
  • Operate and maintain radiology equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and advancements.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and coordination.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Radiology or related field.
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) certification.
  • Four (4) years of experience as a Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated expertise in cardiac ultrasound procedures and techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, in a fast-paced environment.
