Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their maximum potential and independence.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients to determine their functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct and modify evaluations based on patient symptoms, activity level, and medical status.
- Administer physical agents and manual therapeutic techniques to relieve pain and achieve established goals.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and functional activities to maximize independent functional activity.
- Document patient progress and adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with a minimum of a B.S.
- Current Connecticut license and certification as a Certified Hand Therapist.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Personal computer skills and proficiency in Windows-based programs.
- Access to reliable transportation for travel between multiple work sites.
