Northeast Center for Youth & Families, Inc. (NCYF) is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to work with at-risk youth in our Residential Group homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities- Implement treatment plans to support the development of daily living skills and social skills
- Lead and model activities of daily living, including meal preparation and cleaning
- Teach and role-model age-appropriate social and living skills
- Provide structure and support routines to promote a safe and healthy environment
- Complete home-making tasks, organize and inventory supplies, and prepare meals
- Masters level Occupational Therapy license preferred, but not required
- Valid driving license and reliable transportation
- Approved CORI, DCF, and driving background checks
- Successful completion of required trainings, including CPI, CPR, and First Aid
