Job Summary:

As an Administrative Support Specialist for the Associate Degree Nursing Program at KCTCS, you will provide high-quality administrative support and customer service to the program staff and students. Your role will be crucial in maintaining program records, managing office inventory, and communicating with the Nursing Division Office manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Nursing program staff and other team members.
  • Maintain program records for KBN and ACEN reports.
  • Provide quality customer service to the Leestown Nursing program.
  • Monitor and maintain office inventory (supplies, etc.).
  • Communicate to the Nursing Division Office manager expenditures and purchasing requests for the Leestown Nursing program; maintain financial records of budgetary transactions.
  • Maintain Leestown Nursing program meeting minutes.
  • Help monitor/track clinical agency requirements using Castle Branch Bridges.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree (related field) and one-year related work experience, or equivalent.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong commitment to student services and success.
  • The ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong clerical and computer skills including financial record keeping and customer service.
